On the morning of 25th November, SASU President Wang Chengduan, came to the Foreign Language Experimental Teaching Center (FLETC) and made an investigation on the construction and operation of the FLETC.
President Wang inspected teaching environment and working conditions such as the language laboratories, simultaneous translation lab, CAT lab, in the company of Prof. Wang Chenghui, Director of the FLETC. Prof. Wang pointed out the basic situation in the Center such as construction, integration of resources, organizational structure, staff composition, teaching operation, and existing problems in such aspects as teaching, curriculum development, and laboratory operation.
President Wang fully affirmed the effectiveness of the construction and operational management in the Center. He also stressed the definite direction of development and put forward a great hope for the future development of the Center.
Wen Wu, Deputy Director of Academic Affairs Office, and some staff from relevant departments, participated in the investigation.
